“As a participant in the online trade fairs BAU and R+T, we use these additional opportunities to present new and further developed products. In addition to our Neher app and the monthly newsletter, trade journals are also important for us in the communication mix. This applies both to the editorial area and through advertisements,” says Matthias Geist, Managing Director of Neher Systeme. “With the new solar module for electric roller blinds, the further developed PL2 pleated blind, the high-quality Robustec fabric for light well covers and the award-winning Transpatec fabric with anti-dirt coating, we are once again providing our customers with some products with unique selling points.” Two Neher products have been nominated for the R+T Innovation Award.

Electric roller blind with new solar module
Neher sees great potential in this product in the retrofit sector. The installer on site does not have to worry about electrical connections/installations, but can simply and quickly install the pre-configured element “out-of-the-box”. A new radio-controlled 12 V high-speed motor is supplied with power via a solar module developed by Neher. The solar module in RAL 7021 is pre-mounted on the roller blind box and wired up to the motor. Operation is via the new radio hand-held transmitters, which have already been programmed at the factory. The solar module charges the integrated battery even in indirect sunlight and allows at least 50 upward and downward movements directly one after the other without the motor’s thermal protection being tripped.
Pleated blind PL2 even larger
The pleated blind PL2, which is only 22 mm in width, has been one of the fastest growing products in the product portfolio since its market launch. It is now also available as a double-leaf version with sizes up to 5 × 3 m. Further optimisations in the design and materials reduce friction, increase operating comfort and ensure a longer service life. With the new fabric holder (patent pending), even very large elements can now be realised in a durable manner. With the Neher PL2 pleated blind, the fabric does not stand on the bottom track or rub against the tension cords, which ensures much easier and longer-lasting operation. It also increases the fabric retention in windy conditions.
Robustec stainless steel mesh
The specially developed Robustec powder coating for V2A stainless steel mesh is particularly abrasion-resistant and matches all shades of grey perfectly. The high-quality, homogeneous optics prevent dazzling light reflections in sunlight. The fabric also undergoes less deformation due to higher stability. This is especially important for products that are frequently walked on. It also remains permanently beautiful because it is insensitive to flash rust and contact corrosion. For all these product advantages, the Robustec fabric was awarded the German Design Award Special.
